[SENSORS] Temperature – 23/05/2021

Temperature can seem like a simple water property. However, it affects almost every other property. It’s one of the most important characteristics to measure, because temperature can explain trends or anomalies in the other retrieved data. The illustration on the left shows how the different water properties affect each other [1]. We can clearly see that temperature is a core aspect.

The temperature sensor does not need any calibration. It is also the only digital sensor in this project. This means that there is a set of values that the sensor can detect, in this case it ranges from -55°C to 125°C, which translates to -67°F to 257°F.
